Automotive Commodity Manager

Expanding tier 1 supplier is seeking a Commodity Manager to be directly responsible for developing goals and strategies for the commodity purchasing organization.
Directs and coordinates activities of 4-6 commodity buyers.
Leads and develops commercial sourcing activities and strategies.
Coordinates sourcing strategies with regional and global commodity teams.
Manages other purchasing resources in a matrix organization to ensure successful sourcing and supplier launch.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Commodity Purchasing Responsible to deliver annual negotiation cost reduction targets at or better than business plan objectives, by business field.
Develops sourcing strategies and objectives to meet business and organizational goals Coordinates sourcing strategies with regional and global commodity teams.
Directs and coordinates activities of personnel engaged in the procurement of products and services.
Drive cost improvement projects and activities.
Drive Negotiations and review long term contracts and supplier agreements.
Responsible for the overall Supplier performance related to Quality, Cost and Delivery.
Develops and implements purchasing systems and procedures.
Responsible for overall effective development and deployment of Supplier Pyramid.
Lead cross-functional sourcing committee activities.
Prepares and presents management reports and presentations.
Develop, motivate and lead a professional purchasing team.
EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B.
S.
) from four-year College or University; or seven to ten years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Their experience should be gained in areas of global sourcing activities with a working knowledge of TS16949, APQP, PPAP, Run @ Rate.
Strong negotiation skills and prior experience with contract negotiations required.
Masters degree and CPM Certification preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
