Automotive Program Manager

Expanding tier 1 automotive supplier is seeking a Program Manager to coordinate and manage OE projects from acquisition to start of production. This person will activities for their assigned customers, coordinate with other internal functions to meet customer requirements and company objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES are as follows-
Track and record the implementation of customer design changes
Create project team and assign responsibility for the different functions within that program
Lead and direct project teams to meet customer key dates for the program launch and/or model change.
Develop program time-lines to drive the completion of critical tasks.
Coordinate the activities between the parent company, customer and the plant's cross-functional teams to resolve issues as they arise during the course of program launch.
Provide management with monthly reports, program time lines to update them on the progress of each new program.
Meet all Quality Standards, APQP requirements during program development and launch phases.
Analyze new program costs to determine if it meets the company's minimum profit and/or rate of return.
Expect travel up to 25% of the time. During critical launch periods travel could exceed 50%
EDUCATION AND
Experience:
Bachelors degree and 3-5 years of experience in AUTOMOTIVE PROGRAM MANAGEMENT
