Ensure product is not impacted by low chlorine or high pH Verify accuracy of Chlorine and pH probes at start up Verify interlocks on wash water lines are functioning correctly and lines stop when chlorine or pH rise or fall outside of operational limits Carry a radio and respond to calls regarding issues with Wash Water or lines stopping Monitor PPDL constantly for Alarms and troubleshoot issues in real time to ensure we maintain control.
Perform Manual checks of chlorine and pH levels using a calibrated colorimeter and/or pH meter.
Walk the production floor looking for potential issues (e.
g.
chemical discharge lines on floor, chemical or valve blockages, lines stopped, water flow or chlorine/pH sensors blocked, etc.
) Maintain a working relationship with production supervisors and leads and ensure constant communication to prevent downtime Job Type:
