ResponsibilitiesDrees Homes is looking for a creative and adaptable professional looking to jump-start their career in the Learning and Development space within a Human Resources department; someone who is ready to play a key role in creating a growth culture that empowers employees to innovate and continuously improve.
The Training & Development Manager is responsible for developing and administering various learning and development initiatives, as well as planning and supporting several existing training programs, company-wide.
This position works closely with the functional business leaders, as well as subject matter experts to develop and deliver training that provides critical knowledge and skills necessary for employee talent development and strategic business growth.
This position is also responsible for the administration of our Learning Management System (LMS) and online learning programs.
This position is 100% on-site at our Corporate office in Ft.
Mitchell, KY.
This position reports to the Vice President of Human Resources and does not have any direct reports.
Qualified candidates will have:
Passion for learning and helping others grow their own careers and skills.
Possesses a strong business acumen and has experience in human resources initiatives such as diversity & inclusion, employee development, succession, and performance management.
Ability to collaborate with others to develop both technical and soft skill training needs.
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Create, implement and administer training programs.
Assess organizational training needs and source the right resources to help develop training around identified needs.
Develop and maintain materials and programs covering topics including:
LEAN Customer Satisfaction Management Development New Hire Orientation Partner with Executive Leadership on succession planning and identify training opportunities.
Assist in scheduling, organizing, planning and monitoring cyclical training programs.
Administer and maintain the Company's LMS, as well as SharePoint Training Repository.
Education and
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Development, Psychology, Industrial Organization/HR or related field preferred PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP preferred Excellent written and oral communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects and prioritize.
Strong Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills Knowledge of LMS systems such as Cornerstone a plus Some travel to regional locations is required Excellent salary, bonus potential plus a comprehensive benefits package including profit sharing and 401(k) plans.
