Job Description The professional nurse provides evidence-based nursing care utilizing the nursing process to meet the surgical needs of the patient in the perioperative setting.
The RN is responsible for appropriately delegating tasks to other licensed/unlicensed health care team members as deemed appropriate by training and education.
The RN collaborates with multidisciplinary healthcare team members when providing nursing care.
Responsible for ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and coordination of activities within assigned specialty.
Responsible for ensuring the availability of specialty instrumentation, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures.
Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.
Qualifications Education, Credentials, Licenses:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Current registration to practice nursing in the state where work is performed.
Meets contact hour requirements for licensure, including all state-required courses Specialized Knowledge:
Knowledge of the assessment and preparation of patients for surgery.
In-depth knowledge of specific surgical specialty including anatomy, surgical procedures, surgical instrumentation, and equipment/supplies.
Competent in mathematical calculations associated with medication administration.
Competent to independently perform safe nursing skills and procedures.
Kind and Length of
Experience:
3 year's operating room experience.
Previous experience in similar operating room position.
Experience in assigned specialty.
Experience with video systems/technology/informatics Recommended Skills Anatomy Calculations Communication Coordinating Evidence Based Nursing Information Technology Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
