Responsible for the coordination and delivery of distribution capabilities determined to be critical for the Retirement Division to achieve its growth & scale objectives.
The distribution capabilities work supports wholesalers, sales leaders and distribution partners and is guided by the Sales, Marketing and Distribution Operations functional leaders and coordinated by the capability lead.
Business ExpertiseRequires deep understanding of Retirement sales channels and selling process to understand internal capability needs and external competitive capability gaps to identify, prioritize and recommend improvements.
Requires 5 - 7 years of related industry experience.
Job Functional KnowledgeProgram manages the portfolio of distribution efficiency capabilities for the division.
Facilitates prioritization reviews with leadership and execution rigor with delivery teams.
Drives process improvement and process design projects to address capability gaps and/or improve execution rigor.
Includes doing projects on own and coaching others.
Ensures change management methods are in place to ensure successful delivery & adoption of new capabilities.
Problem SolvingBrings clarity and structure to complex capability challenges that span multiple functions.
Leverage and teaches tools like OKRs, capability roadmaps, and Six Sigma process improvement.
Leads BIRT (Business Issue Response Team) for Distribution issues.
Six Sigma blackbelt or equivalent process experience preferred.
LeadershipCreates a vision for how to progress the division's capabilities that can be understood and actioned across multiple functions.
Oversees the development & delivery of complex cross-functional projects.
Coordinates the contributions of multiple teams to optimize progress and make it efficient for teams to contribute.
Interpersonal SkillsIs one voice for the Division to transparently communicate the priority, needs and progress of capability roadmaps to all stakeholders.
Facilitates priority decisions with senior leaders and execution adjustments with cross-functional teams.
